Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistants needed in Coventry for day to day and full time basis


Your new role
We are looking to recruit an experienced SEN teaching assistant to work with a variety of SEN children in our friendly, inclusive school, the school has excellent facilities and a strong commitment to child-centered learning and the celebration of their rich cultural diversity. They believe that all children and individuals and being creative and imaginative is how they make sure that they give the best possible provision for each child.

What you'll need to succeed
Duties for the NEW SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT:

  • Supporting a range of individual children both in class and using catch-up and
intervention programs, under the supervision and guidance of class teachers, SENCO
and other Specialist Teachers
  • Supporting small groups children with their learning and behavior through targeted
interventions (e.g. Social Communication groups, Circle of friends)
  • Some break-time and midday support for SEN children
We are looking for:
  • An interest in supporting autistic children with their learning
  • Willingness to work with a range of difficulties and language and communication
needs A sense of humour, initiative and ability
