Year 6 Teaching Job (October half term start through to July 2019)

A 2 form entry school in Stoke on Trent are seeking an energetic, dedicated and inspiring teacher to join their team in KS2. You will be teaching a Year 6 class of 30 mixed ability pupils, who are keen learners. There are a few children with SEN and EAL needs in the class, however a TA will be present to provide additional support, and none of the children require 1:1 interventions. It is important that you are able to plan differentiated lessons that keep the high achieving students engaged, whilst providing the necessary support for pupils who are performing slightly below the national curriculum average.

You will be joining a very reputable school, which was recently rated as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED. You will be supported by a strong foundation phase leader and a highly supportive senior leadership team. who you will share planning with. In order to be considered for this position you must have previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6, and be able to provide 2 valid teaching references. You must also be eligible to work in the UK, and have QTS status.
