IT Security Manager - Andover - £55000-£60000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

The need for security to be considered as part of the delivery across Twining’s business systems and services has resulted in the opportunity for an IT Security Manager to join their renowned organisation. This role will offer the freedom for an individual to use their own creative and motivational methods to deliver continuous IT security improvement across all of Twining’s UK and international business units, in accordance with the governance policies set out by Associated British Food plc.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  • You are required to ensure that the Twinings’ security policy is maintained in line with both Twinings business and Associated British Food requirements.
  • You will build and maintain quality relationships across the IT functions of international businesses and the Associated British Food IT Shared Service Centre, to facilitate project delivery, business change and compliance.
  • Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when engaging and dealing with customers and third parties. You should demonstrate a genuine interest in people and be able to flex your communication style to suit both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Establish an enthusiastic and creative approach to security improvement, with a natural ability to influence and engage others with involvement, action and responsibility.
  • Own the lifecycle of IT Security initiatives from inception and design, through to completion and transition into business as usual. Track and demonstrate progress at all stages.
  • Maintain a level of compliance appropriate to Twinings organisational level of risk acceptance. Demonstrate to stakeholders that appropriate controls are in place and own/create actions plans to manage improvement or change these where necessary.
  • You should be confident to act as subject matter expert on matters of Security, relating to both legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure that all proposed technical solutions maintain Twinings security and integrity of the infrastructure.

To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Strong and credible experience within an Infrastructure and Operational IT Management.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering IT Security initiatives using business change control skills and the application of security controls relevant to organisational needs.
  • Experience of project managing IT projects or business change initiatives
  • A knowledge of business systems architecture and development life cycles.
  • Good technical skills across IT security and infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.
  • Desirable qualifications and certifications would include MCSE: Security, CISSP, ISSAP, ITIL and Prince 2.
