Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant position based in Islington to support a child in a KS2 class

Your new company
You will be working in a large primary school in Islington which boasts an Ofsted rating of Good with Outstanding features and an excellent and supportive staff team.

Your new role
You will be working in a KS2 class supporting a child with severe Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and ensuring the child’s safety and security is upheld. You will be offering academic support to the class and offering support on a 1:1 basis to an EBD pupil, building a strong rapport and assisting with their emotional and academic development.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a challenging role and so it is essential that you have relevant experience and are dedicated to the support and development of children. Therefore the ideal candidate for this job will have extensive experience of supporting emotional and behavioural difficulties, have a patient and calm nature and have the ability to build a relationship quickly and efficiently in order to interact well with the child.
