Your new role

The Commissioning Team has a collective responsibility to oversee strategic and large-scale commissioning and service contracts across both our Councils as well as leading market management and strategic relationships with our provider market

As a Senior Commissioning Manager (Substance Misuse) you will be involved with exciting projects like setting up and carefully managing with community a drug treatment service in Battersea, recommissioning of supportive housing services and redesigning mental health procurement. You will have a confidence to manage a small team and a budget in the region of £10 million.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience in Substance Misuse Commissioning
Diverse experience within commissioning public health e.g. Wellbeing issues, Social Care
Political skills to manage voluntary organisation
Ability to project manage and deliver a vision but equally be able to identify needs for improvement
Ability to lead, support and inspire the team
Experience in commissioning mental health and supportive housing is an advantage
