Associate Credit Analyst

Multinational Bank seeking ACA qualified professional for Front Office Credit Role. Paying up to £60k

A leading financial services institution, based in the city of London, is seeking an Associate Credit Analyst to join their Credit Analysis Department.

The Bank
You will be working alongside 10 analysts within a sector specific team each responsible for managing risk exposure in an EMEA wide portfolio, covering around 30 corporates. Salaried at £50,000-£60,000, the front office credit department is one that operates as a leading international corporate investment bank.

The Job 
You will be responsible for the assessment of key credit issues, in addition to leading client due diligence, as a result of key risk events or securing new clients. Your duties will also incorporate conducting fundamental credit calls on current transactions, alongside client meetings and the necessary analysis surrounding each specific credit opinion, ensuring that the internal reporting rules and procedures are adhered to in an accurate and timely manner.

Ideal candidates will either be newly qualified accountants (ACA) or will have gained a minimum of 2 years’ experience focusing on credit analysis within a recognised financial institution. You will ideally have covered investment grade and non-investment grade corporate counterparties. Additional experience within leveraged finance is highly desirable. Additional understanding of market risk and ISDA’s is preferred. Please note, you must have the above experience/skills in order to be considered for this role.
