Employee Relations Manager - Financial Services - South London - Permanent - Competitive compensation package

Your new company
Our client prominent Financial Services organisation located in South London is on the search or an experienced HR Business Partner to join their ER function on a permanent basis starting ASAP.

Reporting to the Head of ER and BP for Central Functions you will see increasing the connectivity between employees and the organisation through the delivery of expert advice on employment (including consultation) issues. You will provide guidance to the HR teams and line managers . You will also continue to develop employee representation within the organisation promoting increased employment flexibility and speed of change , while leading a team of HR Consultants based at each of our main sites.

Your new role

    • Be a trusted advisor to the business providing clear and commercial case management support on a wide range of ER issues
    • Support the development of the wider HR team to expand their knowledge and expertise
    • Increase the connectivity of employees and the organisation through development of our employee representative bodies
    • Own HR policy development and implementation as part of a drive to create a cultural shift in line manager capability and employee experience.
    • Lead and develop a team of HR consultants based in each of our main sites whose role is to partner with local site managers and provide specialist case management support , deliver elements of our People strategy (including Mental health awareness training, people manager capability upskilling etc) and work with the HR BPs to deliver change activity
    • Analyse and manage MI to identify issues or opportunities to make improvements to how we operate

What you'll need to succeed
    • A solid background in Employee Relations experience within a change environment ideally within large matrix organisation.
    • Ideally have experience of having operated as a HRBP in previous life and then specialised in ER.
    • Led and motivated a team via remote working
    • Creative in approach and willing to challenge the status quo.
    • Able to operate outside of own specialism and to credibly, engage with all levels in an organisation.
