Business Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions/ Corporate Finance

Hays are recruiting for a contractor to join a large Investment Bank as a Business Manager within the broader Corporate Client Solutions (CCS) team.



The successful candidate will primarily provide support to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, Head of Country Coverage, Head of Sector coverage and also will support the different sector and country teams.


Key responsibilities;


Coordination of Country and Sector Franchise Reviews and submission of action points/minutes
Line Manager responsibilities for a small team including a Junior Business Manager
Pipeline and forecast management and assistance with the annual budget submission process
Ad-hoc client, strategic and market analysis and preparation of presentations as requested
Ensure adherence to Group policies with CCS teams working closely with Compliance and Operational Risk teams
Management of costs through the expenses and travel approval process providing guidance on and enforcing Group/CCS expense policies within CCS teams and advising on cost reduction initiatives
Ad-hoc requests from the Country and Sector heads as well as from the wider Business Management and CCS Management teams


The candidate must meet the following requirements:


Experience as a Business Manager in the Corporate Finance / Investment Banking Division in a large Bank
Experience of working with within Mergers and Acquisitions or Coverage and Advisory
