Registered Home Manager, Randalstown Area, 19 Bed Elderly Residential Setting, Dementia Friendly Services

Hays Social Care are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a privately owned Residential Care Home, in their search for a Registered Home Manager. This organisation currently has one 19 bed facility in Randalstown who cater to the Elderly and those suffering with Dementia. Our client also has a further 6 bed setting which has immediate plans for growth. Set amongst two acres of beautifully maintained gardens, this setting has a real family feel and they strive to provide the best quality care to each individual service user.

Your new role
You will be an existing Home Manager of a similar sized setting or a well experienced Deputy Manager who is keen to take the next step in their career. You will be tasked with the day to day running of the 19 bed facility with future plans to also undertake the management of the 6 bed facility. This is a truly unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to join an organisation who welcome change and encourage new ideas. 

What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 5 years experience in a Health and Social Care Setting with the majority of this time spent at management level. You will have a strong academic background ideally including an NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care. Applicants should note that although a Nursing Degree is not an essential requirement of the role, it will be advantageous to your application. To be successful in this role you will need to have worked in a Residential Care Home previously and will have specialised in Dementia Care. You must be registered with the NISCC, be willing to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check and have a deep understanding of current regulations in the Social Care Sector.
