Research Assistant

Seeking a thorough research assistant to investigate various organisations and acquire sensitive information

A entrepreneurial independently owned boutique investment bank and wealth management company providing mergers and acquisitions, alongside strategic advisory services to some of the largest technology companies across Europe

Your new role 

  • Overseeing various processes during transactions, making sure information and documentation is received/sent in a timely manner.
  • Oversee, document and manage the Due Diligence process during transactions. The Research team is responsible for liaising with the client’s management and legal teams to ensure smooth transition of information
  • In depth research and analysis of companies relevant to projects – this will include, company profiling, creation of timelines, analysis of events and their effect on the company etc.
  • Researching and circulating, to internal team, updates on companies of interest on a daily basis (for example, any notable acquisitions, release of results, changes in management etc.).
  • Production of Power Point Presentations for board and client meetings.
  • Quality checking, proof reading and formatting works to the highest standard.
  • Occasionally there will be the requirement to travel to the London office.
  • Candidate should be proactive and adaptable with the capability to take on small projects and assignments.
  • The Research Assistant may occasionally be asked to carry out admin tasks

What you'll need to succeed
  • The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, will be IT literate with experience of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and will have excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • You will possess a high level of attention to detail, excellent time management and the ability to cope well under stress in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • You will be able to evidence your research capabilities at interview.
