A £30K Case Officer job in Brighton for 6 months

Hays Specialist Recruitment is now shortlisting applications to present, for consideration for interview, to The Pensions Regulator, which is situated in Brighton, East Sussex, as they seek to recruit a Case Officer to deliver effective enquiry management in line with TPR objectives and values.

THIS VACANCY IS INITIALLY ONLY SIGNED OFF ON A 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, SO APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE MADE ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT A LONGER TERM ROLE CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.     


The responsibilities of the job holder will be to: 


- Provide effective end to end management of a portfolio of ‘fast flow’ Regulatory enquiries.
- Carry out processes in line with documented procedures.
- Identify risk in line with current policies, procedures and statutory guidelines, with prompt escalation of risks.
- Facilitate meetings ensuring accurate minute taking.
- Ensure processes remain fit for purpose and suggesting process improvements.
- Support the implementation of process improvements, systems changes and new fast flow processes.
- Undertake an administration/ Super User role in working applications (NOVA, MSCRM, DM, TRISH).


Essential and Desirable criteria


- Knowledge of operating model, value chain and business rules
- Basic level of general pensions knowledge and technical pension knowledge in key areas for the team, e.g defined benefit scheme funding and trustee appointments.
- Data Protection Act / Freedom of Information general principles.
- Degree (or equivalent) or previous pensions background
