Full-time Yr4 Primary Teacher job near the Crowborough area. It will be fixed term contract from April-August.


Your new company

This popular school near the popular town of Crowborough is seeking a dedicated full time, full-active Yr4 class teacher from April 2018 up until August 2018. You will be paid to scale and the school may look to take you on permanently in September. The school is a two-form entry which offers great opportunity for your own growth and development, with the ability to plan alongside the parallel class teacher. The school is looking to appoint a full-time, fixed term teacher until August, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff in September. The school is very accessible by car and public transport. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Your new role

You will be require to teach full time in a class teaching role, working with KS2 classes of 25 well behaved children, who are very high attainers and require a challenge. THE ROLE WILL INVOLVE PLANNING AND PREPARATION. This a fantastic opportunity to really focus on the individual needs of the children, working in a school that offers fantastic career progression. The school are looking for an ambitious teacher with a passion to develop and inspire children across the board, and really look to enhance their learning. You will have a friendly, nurturing and confident approach.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be a Primary Teacher you will need to have qualified teacher status. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up to date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt. It is imperative that you have good communication skills as this is crucial when speaking to TAs and other people in the school.
