Fixed-term contract until April 2017 - £35,200p.a. equivalent - Exiting the EU Project

Job Summary
An independent government body is looking for a Project Officer to support an exciting new project that will look at what impact the UK's withdrawal from the EU will have on UK statistics.

Your new role
Working with the Project Manager, the postholder will work with other programme leads to identify and track dependencies between this and other projects and their implications. The postholder will: prepare and document phases, milestones and review points for the project; apply organisational standard frameworks and methodologies; monitor progress and taking account o risks and other developments, and take action to amend documentation where appropriate; establish and maintain governance arrangements for the project; and actively seek and asses information and feedback from stakeholders that may impact on the project.

What you'll need to succeed
Applicants are expected to hold an undergraduate degree and have previous experience working in a project/programme support/management capacity. Applicants with a project management such as PRINCE2 or MSP will be favoured. Central Government experience is expected. The organisation is looking for a high energy, proactive individual with the skills and experience that will allow you to work independently on the Exiting the EU and Transforming Statistics Project

What you'll get in return
This is a full-time, temporary assignment, on-going until April 2017, paying the day rate equivalent of £35,200p.a.
