A non-profit professional organisation based in Central London are seeking a Member Development Manager to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract. The organisation is based in new offices in the City of London and the role sits within a small team who are passionate about what they do.

Your new role
As Membership Development Manager you will report into the Head of Business Development, and play a key role in building and nurturing the organisation’s Corporate Membership Programme, ensuring satisfaction with benefits offered and also securing new financial support from companies in target sectors. As part of overseeing the Corporate Membership Programme, this role includes managing quarterly Business & Industry Panel meetings for its members and proactively supporting the delivery of up to four special high profile events per year.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven account management and business development experience, gained from prior experience in working with membership organisations and/or programmes. You will have well-developed communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to work with clients directly and establish good working relationships. This will include strong selling and negotiating skills and experience of writing and presenting proposals. You will be a team player who is able to work on their own initiative as well as think creatively whilst working under pressure.
