This Ofsted rated 'Good' school are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in Year 3. The 2 form entry school are situated in the outskirts of Wolverhampton and are easily accessible by car and public transport links. Your new role
You will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting a Year 3 pupil with ASD. The pupils needs are predominantly sensory and will require support within the classroom with their learning. You may be required to support with the differentiation of work to ensure that the pupil is able to access the curriculum effectively and are progressing well in line with expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School or equivalent
- Experience of working within a Key Stage 2 classroom would be beneficial however, experience of Key Stage 1 would also be suitable
- Knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional needs is essential
