An exciting opportunity has become available with the world's largest manufacturer of dedicated track-day and racing cars, who exhibit a global customer base in over 20 territories and have sold over 2,000 cars in the last decade. Due to the continued growth of its global distributor and dealer network they are looking to recruit an MIG Welder for their head office in Peterborough.

Your new role
You will be joining a small team of 3-4 welders which is an extension of the larger team involved in the production of the racing cars across the Peterborough site. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the welding of specific and bespoke parts for the car frames whilst maintaining an awareness of welding Health & Safety at all times working towards tight deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of MIG Welding and be familiar with light to medium gauge mild steel, showing an understanding of welding safety critical components for the race industry. In addition you will be competent in the use of grinders, sanders and general hand tools and have a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work from drawings and be able to be flexible enough to multi-task.
